Key Responsibilities
• The National Distribution Manager's main priority is to develop the strategy for sales growth of key National Distribution accounts for the B2B Offices team
• Provide leadership assistance to the field teams in management of distribution based issues and opportunities
• Deliver on annual planned sales targets with National Distribution partners
• Build effective relationships with the Distributors and Regional distribution managers
• Develop key contacts within the Distributor Partner's teams to develop strategies and ensure strong alignment between meeting brand and distributor needs
• Develop and build on knowledge of key distributor/customer goals, strategies and measures to influence key decision makers to achieve desire results
• Work closely with core cross-functional groups to ensure alignment and superior execution of agreed upon trade strategies
• Create and evaluate the need for new or improved tools and applications while ensuring maximum use/adoption of sales tools & programs


Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree required
• 5 years sales experience required working with or managing a DSD and/or food service network required
• Experience in managing, leading, and developing 3rd party distributors
• Knowledge of and/or experience with direct office independent and or National Accounts preferred
• Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
• Experience managing teams; strong leadership and presentation skills
• Demonstrated skills as a change agent, manager, and coach
• Proven analytical skills in data collection and financial management
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to actively listen
• Demonstrated ability to coach and communicate with others
• Demonstrated ability to turn data into compelling insights for Distributors
• Solid project/time management capabilities
• Travel 40%
