The FC10 Solution Analyst is responsible for driving the delivery of quality solution enhancements aligned with the speed of business. As a strong business partner, the Solution Analyst understands business challenges and opportunities, and works to design and deliver value added solutions within the set business requirements. While carrying out their responsibilities, the Solution Analyst adheres to established processes, requirements management methodology, and practices. These include meeting established quality standards, deadlines, and compliance controls.

The Solution Analyst has strong technical and broad functional knowledge of the FC10 Solution. The Solution Analyst's knowledge and skills will be leveraged for minor enhancements, advanced training, consulting, continuous improvements and business partnering. This position is a team member of the Group Functions team as a Solution Analyst for FC10.

50% - Enhancements and Advanced Training

  • Drive the full cycle of the Small Work process from ideation and explore to implement and close.
  • Analyze submitted business challenges and opportunities. Apply deep business acumen in understanding business needs and value realization.
  • Gather business requirements and work across Global IT to develop cost effective and value add solutions.

  • Drive timely and quality delivery of solutions (process and technology) through design, build, test and implementation. Ensure implemented solution delivers upon business needs and estimated value.

20% - Consulting & Participation in Continuous Improvement

  • Consult with Strategic Partners. BRMs, Super Users and other stakeholders.
  • Provide technical consulting on FC10 across Global IT applications and support information flow and horizontal communication

  • Consult and participate on continuous improvement projects, including Kaizen events and business process transformation efforts as a FC10 expert.
  • Drive engagement across the teams to improve communication and alignment.

20% Business Partnering

  • Develop and maintain strong business partnering relationships with key business and Global IT stakeholder
  • Participate the Community of Practice (CoP) with the Super Users to help drive out the business value from the solution as needed
  • Drive engagement with the Super Users and the businesses.
  • Deliver/support training of Super Users and BU users as needed.

10% Other Project Delivery Responsibilities

  • Manage own workload and priorities to deliver agreed upon project milestones.

  • Lead and mentor less experienced staff.

  • Prepare high and detailed level estimations of effort to achieve a preferred solution.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • Represent and participate in deployment projects for skill up and to provide support for major incidents, and complex issues

  • Participation in stabilization activities to include but not limited to Cause Analysis, Proactive Analysis, Process Assessment / Mapping, and Failure Mode Effect Analysis. Stabilization activities require working with Problem Management and Small Works to oversee the Known Error (PKE) and Problem (PBI) record

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

  • 5 or more years of financial consolidation or related business experience.

  • Proven record of interacting with business units and functional teams.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, ability to communicate technical and business information effectively to both technical and non-technical people.

  • Proven conflict resolution skills

  • Ability to understand our business, work across business units, be a team player and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong problem solving/decision-making skills.

  • Experience leading and influencing others, including senior level personnel

  • Must have experience in FC10

  • Process design and implementation experience

  • Past experience working with a global team

  • Demonstrated ability to be successful in ambiguous environments

  • Demonstrated analytical skills

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Training execution experience


  • In depth knowledge of SAP Finance consolidation business processes

  • Past project management experience

  • Work experiences across multiple lines of businesses

  • Ability to teach project and/or other support team resources about specific application functionality either through formal or informal training

  • Ability to identify information required to make critical business decisions

  • Process / system integration experience

  • Knowledge of and experience with Change Management

  • Knowledge with Software Development and Programming

  • Familiarity with Cargill's Project Delivery Process (PDP) Methodology

  • Familiarity with Cargill's Requirements Analysis and Solution Design process framework.
