WHAT WILL I BE DOING?
In your role as Financial Analyst, you will help the Kellogg business to continue to create great products, grow our business and build on our success by:1. Co-ordinate the actuals submission working with Categories/clusters to meet BC Deadlines.2. Manage the internal FP&A calendar to ensure all inputs have been received and loaded for actuals/budgets/outlooks3. Own the light outlook process from E2E including presenting the results to FP&A director/FP&A Snr. Manager4. Challenging the results in order to ensure accuracy and gather the overall European commentary5. Own the consolidation and deployment of the European financial calendar6. Co-ordinate the monthly FP&A communication process through the planners call forum7. Supporting FP&A Planning Director/VP Finance in value add analysis for the European Business, providing guidance, insight & recommendations8. Supporting the FP&A Snr Finance manager in Month End, Budgets & ad hoc requests9. Supporting the 5 year planning process for Europe10. Co-ordination of S404 requirements for bi-annual testing and doc scrubs where necessary11. Supporting the bi-annual transfer pricing process12. Assisting in the consolidation/reporting of strategic outlooks by working with wider team on key tasks such as royalties, out of period sales and other internal management reporting adjustments
13. Actively participate in change initiatives to standardise processes to improve the planning/actuals cycles
WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?
As well as a hunger to learn and succeed in Finance, to be considered for this position you must be able to meet the following requirements:
Required:- Educated to degree level or MBA, fully qualified CIMA or equivalent and minimum 3 years post-qualification experience.- Strong understanding of P&L with extensive knowledge of financial techniques and accounting principles/procedures- Demonstrable planning & organizing skills; well-developed analytical skills, a business-wide perspective and strong customer focus.- High degree of attention to detail- Strong communication skills: ability to work well with others in a team environment, work effectively in a multi-cultural environment and develop relationship at multiple levels.- Working knowledge of US GAAP, local statutory and Sarbanes-Oxley S404- Proficiency with Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Access and deep Excel skills
