Strategic Sourcing & Procurement is a global organization with regional category teams in North America, Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific that, along with a strong core team and procurement alignment, are implementing new sourcing strategies to support Cargill businesses and functions. Strategic Sourcing & Procurement employees gain broad exposure to Cargill businesses as they drive tangible value for the organization.

Regional category teams are organized around 5 category areas that drive spend activity for chemicals/energy, ingredients, packaging, plant materials and services, and corporate materials and services. Regional category teams develop and drive regional and global category strategies to leverage Cargill's position in the market, drive stronger connectivity, accountability and relationships with Cargill businesses, and clearly understand the requirements of the businesses they support. This position will be a key enabler to the success of data and technology utilized within Strategic Sourcing as well as Procure to Pay processes across Cargill. The position will partner with Regional Category & Business Strategic Sourcing Teams to support Continuous Improvement and Reporting Analytics. This role will report directly into the NA COE Leader and work closely with the Continuous Improvement Lead as well.

25% Continuous Improvement

Lead reporting/analytics related projects
Identify opportunities where analytics or reporting could be leverage to improve a process
Serve as subject matter expert on for projects other projects as needed
Assist in creating reporting solutions for procurement and sourcing related projects

25% Procurement Reporting

Create repeatable reporting solutions in Power BI and business objects to support procurement
Understand procurement related processes at a functional and system design level, and leverage that knowledge when building reports
Migrate repeatable tasks to Bangalore, but keep these solutions as efficient as possible
Support and maintain solutions as needed
Assist in emergency reporting needs on occasion

25% Invoice to Pay Reporting
Create repeatable reporting solutions in Power BI and business objects to support invoice to pay activities
Work with data from multiple systems/sources to create standardized reports
Migrate repeatable tasks to Bangalore, but keep these solutions as efficient as possible
Support and maintain solutions as needed

25% Other Duties and Special Projects

Migrate repeatable tasks to CBS (Cargill Business Services)
One-time projects related to sourcing, procurement and spend analysis.
Support Project activities such as Maestro
Maintain BI (Business Intelligence) report scheduling
Answer end user support questions on reporting
Attend community of practice events on Cargill's Business Intelligence community


Required Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in technology, finance, analytics; OR
5 years of relevant experience in same or similar role
• Experience using technology to support business processes
• Experience creating interactive data visualizations
• Experience building reports and working with large data sets
• Power BI, Tableau, Qlik.
• Beginner to intermediate SQL
• Experience with an ERP system (preferred SAP)

Preferred Qualifications

• Work effectively in a team environment.
• Work well with ambiguity and can translate users' needs into results
• Intermediate to advanced skills using Microsoft Excel and Access
• Intermediate to advanced skills using a data visualization tool such as
