Cargill Turkey and Cooked Meats facilities utilize state-of-the-art beef, pork and turkey processing capabilities to deliver high-quality meat products to our partners. Our retail customers come to us from traditional grocers, supermarkets and warehouse clubs to provide their meat and deli needs. Our Cargill Turkey and Cooked Meats
facility in Nebraska City, Nebraska has an exciting opportunity for a Quality Assurance Technician reporting to the Food Safety, Quality and Regulatory Supervisor. The primary accountability for this position will be to monitor production processes, facility operations, conduct required auditing and testing for food safety and quality programs. Attention to detail, the ability to communicate and uphold high standards of company policies and procedures as well as governmental regulations. Monitor SOPs, SSOP and HACCP programs. Assist with writing and review of current procedures and SOPs. Also, perform special projects as requested by supervisor.
- Monitor all steps of production processes to ensure product safety and quality criteria are met.
- Conduct tests and audits and document appropriate forms or perform electronic data entry as needed.
- Monitor/Verify HACCP, CCP'S, SOPs, SSOPs.
- Oversee operations and ensure compliance with Cargill, local and federal regulations, policies and procedures to include EHS, food safety and behavioral based safety programs.
- Other duties as assigned.
