POSITION SUMMARY:

Participate as an active member of the Factory Finance team on a day to day basis for assigned Local Committee. Deliver insightful financial reporting to operations and corporate management in an accurate and timely manner.  Provide value-added analysis and recommended actions to identify and correct inefficient operations resulting in lower operating costs.  Ensure sound costing in adherence to financial legal requirements and Nestle Accounting Standards. 

Cash Flow and Continuous Improvement

Seek and support cost improvement opportunities; be an active contributor to improvement projects and initiatives.  Participate on project teams in order to ensure validation, review and proposed savings are accurately tracked.  Be involved in daily activities associated with Nestle Continuous Excellence (NCE) in the factory environment.

Analysis

Generate and review daily, weekly and monthly variances; analyze and investigate background.  Ensure data accuracy with regular checks; follow up with stakeholders to ensure correction of errors.  Discuss issues with operations department as necessary.

Reporting and Analytics

Generate, review and validate factory reporting of weekly actuals, including providing of this data for factory NCE meetings to ensure transparency of information.  Review and validate period end and year end close reports for the factory ensuring Nestlé financial policies, Accounting Standards and Costing Standards are followed.  

Strategic Evaluations

Perform financial simulations, product costing & estimates and CAPEX evaluations as required ensuring full transparency of costs.

Internal Controls/Compliance

Follow costing guidelines and associated standard operating procedures when generating financial documents and performing daily activities. Perform routine audit activities within the factory to ensure compliance on critical areas e.g.) stock taking. Appropriately escalate business risks.    

Knowledge Transfer

Prepare and publish financial KPI data on a regular basis; perform analysis of KPI data and transfer this knowledge of the key figures to the relevant stakeholders in order to promote understanding.


REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:

4 Year Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or Economics or equivalent field.

EXPERIENCE:

Knowledge of the Food Manufacturing industry (preferred)

Proven track record with process and/or financial improvement

Multi-departmental interface

Intermediate level of financial reporting and comprehension to interpret results and driving factors

REQUIRED SKILLS:

Technical skills (Advanced Microsoft Excel, SAP preferred)

Displays business and financial acumen

Highly service oriented, exhibiting strong proactive cooperation

Agility to thrive in a results focused atmosphere

Ability to influence decisions and drive decision-making in alignment with objectives through financial analysis

Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
