QA Manager Responsibilities:
Assist with Document Control System, including follow up on training completion for different departments in the facility.
Point of contact for food safety auditing.
Promote and maintain food safety, food quality and food defense requirements.
Supports the training and development of employees in different departments.
Audits and reviews all programs and procedures on annual basis or when significant changes/implementations occurred.
Conduct plant inspections and support Production, Sanitation, Maintenance, and Warehouse departments when food safety, quality or compliance issues may arise.
Conduct follow-up with different departments on action plans as a result of HACCP reassessments / internal and external audits.
Ensures the operation meets and/or exceeds quality, distribution and production guidelines as set by government and company standards.
Work alongside R&D department for implementation of new product ideas
QA Manager Requirements:
5+ years’ min experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in the meat manufacturing industry.
Bachelor’s degree in a food-related field required.
