JOB SUMMARY

  • This position is responsible for partnering with leadership to anticipate and meet the organization’s staffing needs by finding and retaining exceptional employees.
  • Manages the full-cycle recruiting process.
  • Develops and implements strategies, programs and policies that support a consistent flow of qualified candidates. 
  • Works in close collaboration with managers and HR team members to identify and successfully onboard key talent. 

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist in development of short and long term strategies to meet recruitment goals and objectives.
  • Consults with hiring managers to understand the business needs, develops specific recruiting plans to meet the business needs.
  • Updates leadership team and hiring managers on progress of open positions on no less than a weekly basis.
  • Sources and recruits for all positions; manages full-life cycle recruiting process.
  • Supports the development of recruiting strategies at target universities and industry associations; researches recruiting events.
  • Builds long-term relationships at target universities and industry associations to maintain a pipeline of exceptional talent.
  • Represents FSNS at recruiting events including career fairs, information sessions, interview days and networking dinners; attends national conferences and career expos.
  • Provides information on company and job opportunities to potential applicants.
  • Supports the planning and implementation of the Internship Program.
  • Develops and reports on key performance metrics.
  • Works with search firms or other placement agencies, and determines optimum recruitment method to develop and maintain a highly qualified candidate pool.
  • Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening for manager to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
  • Assists with arranging travel and lodging for applicants.
  • Administers pre-employment assessments.
  • Conducts background and reference checks.
  • Serves as the subject matter expert and manages the administration of the ATS.
  • Maintains and enters data into various human resources databases in a timely manner; ensuring the accuracy of information.
  • Runs reports from human resources databases as requested.
  • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Maintains confidentiality of company information.
  • Understands and follows OFCCP mandate of compliance with Affirmative Action and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations.
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.

EDUCATION and /or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • Five years of experience with full lifecycle, high volume recruiting in corporate setting preferred
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, and computer literacy
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% required
  • Experience working in the food industry strongly preferred
  • Technical and executive recruiting experience preferred
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred
  • Ability to query, collect, evaluate, organize and analyze data relating to candidate sourcing
  • Experience with social media recruitment preferred
  • Working knowledge of OFCCP and legal requirements related to employment preferred
  • STEM recruiting experience preferred
