The Cargill Starches, Sweeteners and Texturizers Production Excellence Lead position is primarily responsible for developing a Production Excellence strategy and culture that builds on the foundational elements of the CMES model and that focuses on enhancing the interaction between Group functions (M&R, CE, CI, MTL, Operations). This role is primarily responsible for providing M&R insight and macro-trend analysis to enable other functional areas to focus on opportunities. Key elements of the position purpose include:
1 Provide trend analysis to regions/sites/other functions of common reliability dents across the group
2 Provide reliability input into capital projects (limit determined by CE team) and provides training on RE input process.
3 Owns the overall Bad Actor process for the group
4 Works closely with MTL/CE/CI on trends and opportunities to improve reliability across the enterprise.
5 Maintains critical documentation up to date related to training/ “license to operate”/ MOC in area of accountability
6. Owns the Asset Care / Autonomous Maintenance maturity Assessments within TRACC and monitors assessment maturity vs. expectation across regions and sites.
In addition, this position will be responsible for early identification of emerging “license to operate” issues, benchmarking and value creation opportunities. The CSST Production Excellence Lead supports, coaches, trains and drives “change” in the regions in deploying Cargill's Production Excellence processes to ensure continuous improvement in productivity of the company's physical assets whilst safeguarding the PSRM and EHS&Q requirements. The candidate will be directly involved in the development and deployment of standards, leading practices and medium- long term plan development.
35% - Develops strategy and enabling processes to enhance the Production Excellence (PE) philosophy and capabilities. Ensures PE talent is identified and developed and ensures learnings are actively promoted in the regions. Drives continuous improvement by establishing performance measures/ benchmarks in PE efficiency and through data driven analyses and from data from enabling systems such as TRACC, RtDUET, Plant ESP, etc.
20% - Policy/Procedure and Best Practice (BP) Owner - Lead the development of policies and best practices covering Production Excellence in conjunction with other functions (MTL/CI/CE). Drive deployment, communication and internalization of Policies and BPs related to Production Excellence to minimize duplication of effort and maximize application.
10% - Identifies and prioritizes PE value creation programs for CSST in conjunction with other ME group functions.
15% - Provides input in the review and development of new and existing Engineering standards and owns the process for providing structured Front End Loading engineering support and strategic direction based on BP's in Projects over 10 MM$. Coaches regions in developing PEE input in the specific site managed projects.
20% - Conducts M&R / PE sustainability assessments/ and monitors follow up actions identified by regions and sites. Share / implement PE best practices across the group. Trains regional resources in assessment tools and alignment of expectations. TRACC process ownership and governance in the Asset Care / Autonomous Maintenance areas.

• Bachelor Degree in an engineering / manufacturing discipline
• Minimum of 15 years' experience in Manufacturing and/ or project management
• Minimum of 5 years direct or indirect supervisory experience
• Strong Knowledge in plant operations and maintenance
• Demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others (influencing skills)
• Demonstrated execution capacity
• Ability to adapt and learn in a changing work environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written within multiple levels of the organization.

• Mechanical engineering degree
• Master degree in an engineering / manufacturing discipline.
