Position Purpose & Summary.


The main focus of this role will be the development of the strategic growth plans, the support of the search for M&A opportunities, maximization and optimization of profit and cash flow, the definition of the development of new products and services (NPSS) that will differentiate us in the market. This role will specifically be focused on our FR3 (Dielectric Fluids) business.


Principal Accountabilities.


35% - Product Line Strategy:

  • Analysis and evaluation of product line
  • Develop and execute global product strategy
  • Detailed competitive product analysis
  • What drives competitive technology
  • Customer identification and analysis for fit and targeting.
  • Regulatory


30% - Cash and Profit Management:

  • Global pricing strategy for existing products
  • Understand raw material drives and coordinate with Procurement to drive raw material costs down, reliability of supply and improve product line profitability.
  • Set Manufacturing and tolling direction for selected products and coordinate with Operations and Procurement to execute
  • Develop plan to optimize production locations to maximize assets and grow profit
  • Analyze product cost structure


20% - Sales Force Effectiveness:

  • Product line tactics by segment
  • Sales support (3) Analysis and forecast of customer performance


15% - New Product Introduction and Commercialization:

  • Identification and commercialization of product line extensions
  • Coordinate and drive the Product Portfolio List (PPL) for product areas of responsibility
  • Coordinate with Operations and R&D to facilitate product hand-offs and accelerate speed and effectiveness of commercialization.

Qualifications

Minimum Required Qualifications.


• Bachelor's Degree in a Technical field - Chemistry, Engineering, or related

• 7 years commercial/product management experience

• Previous product management experience in the specialty chemicals or electrical/transformer industries

• Strong knowledge of electrical industry

• Ability to build long-term, sustainable business relationships

• Strong communication skills - verbal and written

• Strong leadership and problem solving skills

• Ability to manage multi-functional segments (e.g., technology, manufacturing and sales) to drive growth

• Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate value propositions


Preferred Qualifications.


• MBA

• Entrepreneurial, comfort with ambiguity, strategic agility
