Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager (BDM) for warm water species, you will lead the sale of all non salmonid feed for Cargill Aqua Nutrition in North America.

Principal Accountabilities:
35% - Directly maintain and pursue relationships with more strategic and transactional customers and collaborate closely with the NA Country Director and the BDM for cold water to support the development of customer relationships. Lead and support the sales team to achieve the overall success of customer relationships.

35% - Coach, develop and directly supervise the sales team; supervise daily sales operations activities; execute and deploy the sales plans, vision and goals across the non salmonid feed. Execute and monitor performance standards for the sales team. Direct and reassess priorities in order to achieve sales volume objectives for the defined portfolio.

30% - Identify and inform about the need for improvements or enhancements to the non samonid feeds. Supports the management team and Strategic Marketing and Technology lead in defining the competitive landscape.



  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of work experience with commercial sales
  • 5 years of management experience
  • 5 years' experience in Aquaculture
  • Demonstrated strong communication skills both with internal and external customers
  • Experience leading and motivating teams to deliver results
  • Must be able to travel 30-50%
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aquaculture
  • 5 years of working experience with commercial sales
  • 3 years of sales leadership
  • 5 years of experience in Aquaculture
