Description

As the Vice President - McDonald's Global Oils, it will the right candidate's role to manage Cargill's Oil business with Global McDonald's System. Additionally,

responsible for Global Oil P&L in leading, directing and developing business relationships with McD System ( McDonald's, Simplot, LambWeston, McCain, Tyson, Keystone Foods, OSI, Cargill Meats, McCormick, Devloy, Monsanto, Dupont, Cargill Specialty Canola and RTI) across all Zones and over 80 countries.

This role requires significant independent thinking required in changing product/market landscape; from concept, idea generation, innovation to delivering after tax profit to the Corporation while maintaining Cargill and McDonald's brands. Additionally, it will be responsible for all aspects of the Cargill Oil business with McDonald's from solution development to sales/marketing, research, field service, manufacturing and pricing, capex and finally delivering the P&L for corporation which include multiple oils regions globally. In addition, indirect responsibility for International regions that supply to McDonald's in terms of pricing, products and P&L.

Principal Accountabilities:

50% - McDonald's Relationship Management: Lead strategy across Cargill product lines for McDonald's. Interact with key McDonald's executives to drive Cargill business forward.

30% - Team Leadership and Talent Development: Lead, coach, develop and engage North America MBU team. This role will have direct leadership of the product lines leads for our North America products, as well as the MBU field service team, culinary, and office administration.

25% - Business Accountability: Own and share accountability with the business commercial leadership to develop growth plans in line with business profitability targets. Communicate regularly with commercial leadership regarding product/segment activity impacting applicable business units. Deliver customer insights (such as strategy, decision making, market responses, etc.) to the commercial leadership and partner with them in making Go to Market decisions.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Finance or Marketing

  • 10 years of experience a food / food service management role with proven results in top line and margin growth

  • Proven track record of relationship building experience/success with a large, strategic customer

  • Highly collaborative, ability to work with a variety of individuals and teams

  • Strong talent manager; successfully engaging and developing teams and customers for high performance and excellence, value and incorporate diversity in teams

  • Ability to hold self and teams accountable for results and performance, holding others to high standards of behaviors

  • Strong business acumen; financial/commercial/margin management experience and understanding

  • Flexibility to deal with ambiguity and with changing environments, people and business conditions, ability to handle multiple tasks and project simultaneously

  • Ability to influence at senior levels of organizations

  • Clear and candid communicator

  • Willing and able to travel up to 75% of the time domestically and internationally.


Preferred Qualifications

  • MBA

  • Experience with foodservice product line, ex: oils, eggs, protein categories

  • Strong P&L management

  • Experience with multiple BUs/products lines

  • Experience leading through organizational change
