Description

This will be a temporary role for approximately 24 months, or the duration of the Cargill Malt SAP Deployment.


Location: This position will ideally be located near a Cargill Malt facility or office in the U.S. but other options will be considered.

The Business Process Manager (BPM) will lead the Enterprise Resource Planning System process implementation for Supply. They begin their engagement early in the project lifecycle during the Advanced Deployment phase and remain in their role to the end of the Post Go-Live Support period. BPM has responsibility to direct activities for the Super User Network for their designated area.

The ability to develop an understanding of interdependencies across Process Areas as well as integrating with the Data Network is a critical skill for success in this role.


Principal Accountabilities.


50% - Provide knowledge and expertise of business requirements throughout project phases:

Business Readiness: Identify and lead readiness projects to prepare the business for implementation.

Lead Advance Deployment activities, aid in Solution Confirmation, and support Local Design/Build efforts.

Works with Data Process Leads to define configuration for alignment, testing of the solution, and leads User Acceptance Testing and Business Simulation for their respective process area.

The role requires preparation and participation in Super User and End User training and will define cutover requirements for the respective process area, identify resources to complete cutover tasks, support Site Leads with execution of the cutover, participate in Go-Live, support Super Users with issue identification, resolution and monitoring of business Health Metrics during the Post-Go-Live project phase.


20% - Change Management & Communication:

Support CCE Lead with execution of change plan; promote process change in organization.

Additionally the role requires leadership execution for Resource Identification and Management - e.g. Support Process Sponsors, Process & Continuous Improvement Manager and HR in identification and staffing of Subject Matter Experts and Super User Network, Direct project management responsibility for Super User Network, onboarding, task allocation, day-to-day work direction, goal setting, one-on-one discussions, and support, Support Super Users' Manager in Performance Manage and Year-End reviews.


15% - Project Planning & Control

Regularly measures and monitors project progress to identify variances from the plan and make needed corrections for implementation

Contains and resolves issues within the project that do not require Project Sponsor attention.

Defines deployment objectives and scope utilizing expert knowledge of project management practices and procedures.

Develops the Integrated Project Plan.


15% - Support Value Realization Activities: Lead efforts in collaboration with the BIM Manager and Process Sponsors with which deliver value from SYSTEM (people, process, data, technology) improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications


• University degree or 4 years work experience

• 3 years of work experience in supply chain or related field

• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time

• Previous experience leading project work in large scale projects and change management initiatives

• Strong analytical skills; capable of breaking down complex issues and identifying key drivers; can identify cross process upstream and downstream impacts

• Proven ability to lead, coach, facilitate, and communicate with individuals across a broad range of education, experience, and functional spectrums

• Demonstrated behaviors consistent with the Cargill Leadership Expectations


Preferred Qualifications


• 7 years of work experience in supply chain or related field

• Experience with ERP systems

• Project management/PPM experience

• Understand of futures and options markets

• Knowledge of Malt value chain and work processes

• Very strong ability and appetite to learn and apply new concepts
