Description

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the offer and placement of Intern/Co-ops for business and/or function

  • Review, prescreen, and recommend online candidate pool

  • Actively communicate with Intern/Co-op candidates including job offers, accepts, rejects, declines and sustained contact throughout work terms

  • Assist in identifying volunteer recruiters and creating campus recruiting teams

  • Engage in ongoing dialogue with campus teams and serve as subject matter expert

  • Assist in the planning and execution of the annual two-day Intern Forum event and Recruiter Forum

  • Represent Cargill at university recruiting events as needed

  • Create annual reports documenting hire data

  • Additional projects as assigned

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of organization

  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and work volumes while remaining focused during peak times

  • Demonstrated commitment to customer service and continuous improvement

  • Excellent organizational, analytical, communication and administrative skills

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others and cover other areas as needed

  • Microsoft Office proficiency

  • Ability to travel during peak recruiting seasons (up to 30%)

Preferred:

  • 2 years of business or recruiting experience

  • Applicant tracking system experience (Taleo)

  • University recruiting experience

  • Knowledge of employment laws

  • Familiarity with university recruiting/student trends
