Assist FSQ Supervisor in performing duties for the Quality Control (QC) program, Nutritional staff, and Regulatory Control.
Perform testing and evaluation on incoming ingredients and finished products as needed, such as mycotoxin analysis, particle size, moisture, crumb analysis, pellet durability, etc.
Location NIR Coordinator - responsible for preventative maintenance, sample analysis, data reporting and other functions as needed.
Collect samples and analytical data for QC program and report results to appropriate personnel.
Maintain sample retains and retain room(s) to be clean, organized, and free of pests.
Maintain laboratory instruments including preventative maintenance and calibration checks.
Assist with database maintenance for QC program.
Evaluate milk replacer ingredients and finished products for wetability, mixability, sediment, and evaluate analytical results.
Prepare samples of Type A Medications for analysis by customers for regulatory control, which includes proper labeling and shipping of sample in a timely manner.
Support Quality Assurance, Regulatory Control, Research, and Nutritionists with special projects
Assist in investigation associated with non-conformances
Assist in new lab processes and the implementation of new equipment.

- High School Diploma
- Knowledge of food safety, regulatory and personal safety requirement
- Good computer skills are essential with an understanding of spreadsheets and databases.
- Good written and verbal communication abilities
- Demonstrates organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate and communicate effectiviely with remote team members
- Bachelor's degree in Animal Science, Food Science, or Biological Sciences.
- SAP experience
- Three to four years experience in a laboratory/office enviornment
