Summary 
The Internal Account Manager is part of the Benelux Gourmet sales & marketing team and will report into the Sales Director Gourmet Benelux.

The Internal Account Manager will be in charge of the ‘contract management' for the team. He/she will assure correct and timely processing of contract management requests coming in via customers directly, or via the sales team. He/she is the go-to person for Gourmet Sales Benelux for contract management process, tools and systems.

 

Accountabilities 

The Internal Account Manager has direct customer contact, related to contract management. He/she works closely together with the sales team to understand the customer needs and challenges.

 

For a well-defined number of customers, the Internal Account Manager is the internal contactperson whenever the sales spokesperson is unavailable. He/she anticipates questions or requests from these customers coming in on a day-to-day basis. He/she will work with Barry Callebaut resources to ensure timely follow-up (link with other departments like Pricing, Customer Care, …). The Internal Account Manager will keep track of commercial analysis related to contract management activities, to support and inform the sales team with accurate analysis.

 

The Internal Account Manager continuously aims to improve the contract management process and takes initiatives to make these contract management processes and procedures as efficient as possible.
 

Contribute to reach the targets of the Benelux sales & marketing team.

 

Communicate frequently with sales team in region; Regional Account Managers, Field Sales Manager, Sales Director.

 

Ensure knowledge and know-how within area of expertise is continuously updated and relevant for the entire team. Continuously increase own professional knowledge and expertise and ensure understanding of the global BC organization.  

 

Live up and reflect to the team the internal rules and trade legislation during the entire sales process between BC and its distributors & key accounts/clients. Take responsibility of validation of the accuracy and appropriateness of the data used and ensure relevance and high quality of data output e.g. reports and analysis. Actively transfer information and feedback from the local team and market/customers to Regional Sales Director, colleagues and relevant other departments of BC.
 

Qualifications 
Bachelor Degree in Economics or commerce related field
3+ years experience in commercial supportive role
Affinity with B2B food industry
Customer focused and proactive

Knowledgeable in MS Office Suite
English and Dutch; very good knowledge, any other language is a plus
