Nestle Nespresso USA is hiring an EDI Specialist in our New York office to act as an ambassador of the Nespresso Brand to all trade customers.  The position will be the main contact who administers all receiving and sending of all EDI documents and performs troubleshooting on all processes to resolve content issues.


  • Coordinate with Nespresso EDI trading partners to maintain effective EDI relationships and provide support to all internal department and vendors

  • Responsible for ensuring that the company's EDI system is performing at optimum levels with minimal interruptions

  • Identify potential system upgrades in conjunction with IT/IS teams and Nespresso HQ

  • Provide daily technical support for all EDI activity and EDI related applications to ensure a high level of system integrity

  • Perform annual re-assessment of EDI supplier with legal, finance & procurement

  • Lead all EDI related projects with trade partners ensuring flawless execution of all Trade EDI related projects to make sure all orders are processed

  • Partner with cross functionally to provide up-to-date returns data and forecasts

  • Act as single point of contact between all Nespresso Areas, Trade Retailers, and Warehouse when managing EDI projects

  • Manage and update policies and procedures related to returns for internal and external use

  • Receive and process any retailer incoming product orders

  • Ensure shipment and compliance of all Trade shipments

  • Process trade returns and work with Finance on all chargebacks; ensure chargebacks are kept to a minimum level


•         High School Diploma or GED required

•         Bachelor's Degree preferred in business, finance or related field

•         Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite required

•         Knowledge of EDI preferred

•         Basic financial knowledge preferred

•         2 years of experience in Sales, preferred luxury retail or coffee

•         Wholesale experience preferred

•         Shipping/routing knowledge of retail store preferred

•         Excellent verbal and written communication skills

•         Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

•         Strong attention to detail

•         Ability to proactively solve problems
