Having pooled some of our central functions at our new Northern European headquarters in the heart of Hamburg,

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

  • You will start with a complex Induction program, having the chance to discover our central Sales fields, Systems and our Customers.

  • Then you will support our key Account Managers (KAMs) and Group Account Managers (GAMs) in driving customer growth by:

    • Continuous customer analysis, KPI reporting and suggesting actions on identified risks and opportunities.

    • Preparing customer plans and -presentations and implementing tools to improve customer relationship.

    • Supporting the alignment of cross-customer/cross-functional activities to maximize efficiency and effectiveness of our activities 

    • developing and improving customer scorecards

    • Preparing customer specific material for annual negotiations or customer visits, incl. data collection from internal databases like SAP, K-Sure, Drotax etc.)

    • Preparing regular and specific price calculations (e.g. in case of price increases) and offers

    • Maintaining essential KAM working documents, e.g. customer datasheets

    • Tracking, validation and necessary communication to ensure accurate rebate accounting/data management (all invoices to be authorized and signed off by AM)

    • Being responsible for regular data exchange with customers (e.g. verification of turnover reports)

    • Working with customer tools (e.g. calculation matrix EDEKA, Metro-Link, Globus Extra-Net, Markant-Net) and bringing up new ideas for continuous improvement of our tools and systems.

Overall, you will be part and contribute to the development of our Key Account Business, learning and performing in a Sales organization. Moreover, this is a great opportunity in stepping in a large Key Account Network.


WHAT DO I NEED TO DEMONSTRATE?


 

Required:

  • Business Degree or a similar commercial apprenticeship 

  • Good understanding of German retail environment

  • High accuracy, excellence in execution, structured way of working

  • Proactive mind set, high customer- and service orientation

  • Good communication skills

  • Fluent in English and German

  • Advanced MS-Office knowledge, SAP knowledge beneficial

  • Readiness and openness to learn quickly about KAM and other functions in an international large company.

Preferred:

  • Experience in FMCG environment
