This role will manage high volume B2B business relations with customers in a food manufacturing environment.


  • CSAM is responsible for entering a high volume of incoming orders into the SAP system accurately and in a timely manner
  • Follows order through the system from the time of order entry through invoicing.
  • Manages and determines the appropriate method of order entry and shipment for accuracy and customer satisfaction
  • Provide accurate and timely communication, including written correspondence, telephone and electronic exchange to all customers (internal and external)
  • Negotiates with Planning and Distribution for product availability and if necessary expedites shipments and coordinates back orders
  • Collaborate with pricing to obtain quotes upon customer requests. Validate customer pricing and Alert pricing of any necessary contract modifications
  • Takes responsibility for errors and initiates actions to prevent reoccurrence
  • Establishment and maintenance of productive working relationships with customers, co-packers  and all internal departments
  • Investigation of customer complaints regarding services, billings and issues resulting in the appropriate resolution and corrective action for both the external customer and Barry Callebaut
  • Utilizes all available data sources to implement the most efficient and cost-effective logistical process for delivery of product to external customers
  • Committed to providing a safe food product
  • Works within all regulatory requirements
  • Ability to adhere to GMP practices and all other food safety requirements
  • Perform all other related duties as require



  • Minimum 5 years of Customer Service background in a manufacturing sales environment
  • Computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
  • SAP skills a plus
  • 4 year college degree
