POSITION SUMMARY:
Responsible for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of select Corporate Services category strategies and sourcing initiatives within S&IM (including HR Services) for all Operating Companies in the USA and Canada and the alignment with Global Procurement teams. Executes NA and/or engages with Global standardized strategic sourcing processes for assigned categories. Builds, develops and maintains strong working relationships with internal business partners, global Procurement teams, and key suppliers. Tracks and manages policy compliance and focuses on cost savings through vendor negotiations, improved asset utilization and category management.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and execute sourcing activities following the 7-Step Procurement Process, including activities from the development and implementation of the sourcing strategy to the management of agreements, vendors and stakeholders for a defined category or sub-category
o Ensure alignment between business strategy and sourcing strategy
o Build a Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) / supplier ranking matrix / project plan
o Collect and analyze category and spend data; develop the internal and external category profile
o Assess supplier capabilities and recommend "short list" of suppliers for bid lists
o Work with customers (OpCo's and/or Global Procurement) to gather and assess requirements and to develop negotiating and rationalization strategies, and sharing of best practices
o Develop and drive fact-based negotiation strategies with vendors
o Conduct qualitative and quantitative vendor analysis
o Develop and manage Requests for Information (RFI) with potential vendors
o Develop and manage Request for Proposals (RFP) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ), assess results, document recommendations and communicate results to vendors and Stakeholders
• Manage vendor and stakeholder relationships, track performance and communicate vendor performance feedback
o Develop and maintain vendor agreements and relationships, with robust KPI and SLAs
o Monitor compliance with vendor agreements
o Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME's) and internal customers to ensure satisfaction
o Ensure compliance with Supplier Relationship Management program for qualified suppliers.
• Monitor and Continuously Support Category Strategy Summaries and Policy Compliance
o Ensure strategic plans are reviewed, carried out and updated, as needed
o Reconcile potential strategic sourcing outcomes and action plans with business partners prior to executing the sourcing initiative, to eliminate executional barriers
o Implement effective communication plan with stakeholders
o Drive policy compliance and ensure OMP alignment


REQUIREMENTS AND MINIMUM EDUCATION LEVEL:
Bachelors Degree
Travel = 20%


EXPERIENCE:
7 years Procurement experience, including global engagement
Demonstrated experience and/or knowledge of S&IM service providers and category management experience;
HR Services / Corporate Services experience
Demonstrated strategic buying capability and vendor performance management. Candidate must be a demonstrated quick study, proven ability to adapt to change, ability to work across boundaries and borders, strong decision making. Excellent communicator. Demonstrated skills in collaboration and impacting/convincing others. Effective skills in financial, market and vendor analysis. Proven ability to define and create total cost of ownership models. CPM certification a plus. Strong/demonstrated knowledge and experience of procurement processes, reporting, and relationship management is desired.
