Food Safety and Quality Manager

Are you an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in food manufacturing? If so, check out this hot new role!

Our client, a growing food manufacturing company, is looking for a Food Safety and Quality Manager to join their team in South Bend, Indiana.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing the Quality Assurance and Food safety programs, including HACCP, regulatory audits, the quality systems review process and the preventative maintenance programs.
  • Managing the Quality Assurance/Control team, including both supervisory and hourly employees.
  • Acting as a key member of the senior leadership team, providing insight and collaboration to the overall company goals and objectives.
  • Making suggestions for and implementing continuous improvement and best practices.
  • Acting as the subject matter expert on Quality Assurance, Food Safety and Regulatory Requirements.

Experience required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in food science or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years progressive experience in the food manufacturing sector.
  • Proven track record of providing strong people leadership and development.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and legislation
