We are currently seeking a Regional Transportation Manager to be based out of our Greenwood, IN facility.  Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage core carrier group for the Region
  • Meet or exceed targeted service levels
  • Ensure carrier compliance/adherence to dock and delivery schedules.
  • Secure needed capacity at targeted rates for delivery. 
  • Negotiate contracts with carriers.
  • Manage dedicated/contracted fleets for line haul and tankered water requirements.
  • Work effectively with remote partners - Customer Service, Planning, Transplace, & Warehouses

Key qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 years of similar Transportation Management experience
  • ERP system (business management software) experience (i2, PC Miler, SAP) knowledge preferred
  • Strong Excel skills required;  Access skills preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills required. 
  • Ability to communicate at all levels with internal and external contacts required.
  • Travel requirements 15-25%
