We are currently seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & Business Development (RSW Sparkling Portfolio) to be located in our Stamford Headquarters that will report to the Regional Spring Waters Business Unit. The Senior Manager contributes to Nestle Waters success by facilitating the execution of business strategies through point of purchase, working cross functionally with Business (Brand and Finance) and Sales teams. Key responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

Strategic Planning: Lead the Business unit deliverables to build long term strategic plans with specific contributions on consumer-driven channel and pack strategies as well as delivering 4P growth scenarios for the retail business culminating in the Brand Strategy within the MBS.  Explore development of new channels and partnerships to expand our brands' reach. 

Execute the Current year Integrated Commercial Plan: Deliver Business Unit plans to enable sales execution. Attend various sales meetings to communicate consumer content, monitor KPI's against delivery of Business Unit's key initiatives through key customers across channels of trade, and propose supply/product solutions.  Participate in monthly meetings to optimize Field Sales Execution team output around desired in-store merchandising.

Annual Integrated Commercial Plan Development (building out year ICP): Work cross functionally with CCSD to facilitate consumer-driven situation assessment. Contributes to development of our go to market guidelines, align with Business Units on key initiatives to be delivered to sales teams.

Trade Architecture Reconciliation: Aligns with Business Unit Controller on trade architecture guardrails during the planning process. Lead pricing and promotion optimization efforts.

Monthly Business Planning Process: Primary point of contact for BU to facilitate gap closure with finance, supply chain and sales.

Business Health Review: Leads monthly business health review for BU to provide a comprehensive review using inputs from Nielsen, Brand leads and Finance. Analyzes shipment & share reports and recommends opportunities and corrective actions with key accounts, by providing situational diagnostic insights.

Consumer Promotion: Leveraging Brand Strategies, leads the development of the annual consumer promotional plan. Works cross-functionally with BU, Channel, and Shopper Marketing to align and establish goals, creative, tactical components, and sales communication plan.

Spearhead development of selling Brand assets and tools: Responsible for maintaining and providing Brand content for selling presentations and ongoing brand maintenance.

Innovation/Renovation: Leads development of key product initiatives via Nestle's NPDI process. Supports I/R team as Commercialization lead on Brand lead initiatives


Key qualifications for this position include but are not limited to:

8 years consumer packaging goods experience

8 years in Marketing, Category Management, or Sales at a beverage/CPG company

Bachelor Degree required

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Nielsen or IRI

Ability to creatively develop new strategies, processes, practices and programs that will substantially enhance a consumer centric approach

Strong analytical, verbal, and presentation skills allowing in-depth understanding of brand strategy execution across functions

Self-starter

Collaborative mindset

Creative inventor of new strategies, processes, practices and programs

Business / financial management orientation.

Travel requirement: approximately 30%
