We are currently seeking a Blow Mold Tech (SME) for our manufacturing/bottling facility in Denver, CO.

Leadership:

Supervising blowmolding technicians for our high-speed bottling operation.

Lead team drumbeat session, agenda, timing, attendance, etc.

Allocate the work activities to maximize learning and meet time commitment.

Ensure that team needs are met and supplies are available.

Communicate/interface with the other teams.

Monitor team progress and course correct as necessary, take actions when needed.

Observe team dynamics, course correct as necessary, and celebrate successes and take appropriate action.

Ensure environment is right for sharing knowledge and learning within the work group.

Coordinate plans with the tech resource, especially before/after the drumbeats.

Provide interface within team.

 

Training:

Provide development opportunities to blowmolding technicians through cross-training initiatives and setting clear objectives.

Help teach/reinforce the AM / PM methodology and mind-set.

Identify questions, issues and barriers to implementation.

Document team activities and learning to develop ongoing plan.

Develop and monitor if down, do work to ensure AM becomes the way we work.

Teach the AM concepts and methods, provide education at “teachable moments”.

Support team leader, coach individuals, identify resources needed.

Review and answer implementation question with the team.

Keep team focused on individual step, relate to overall objectives and goals.

Assess team understanding and ability to apply methods.

Recognize and highlight team learning. Ensure team celebrates success.

Provide interface within team, pillar and other coaches/teams.

Critique sessions effectiveness with team leader.

Maintenance:

Responsible for all our blowmolding technicians for our high-speed bottling operation.

Operation support, troubleshooting, diagnosing and repairing of blow molders / fillers / capper and other areas as needed.

Drive execution and planning of planned maintenance work load.

Be familiar to operate all equipment to include normal running parameters, set points, etc according to Best Practices.

Planned work order execution including special projects, rebuild and installation.

Strong mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and power transmission troubleshooting.

Intermediate electrical troubleshooting.

Assist during changeovers to include focus on project work installation and work order execution.

Complete welding and fabrication projects (to include full process from design to installation).

Work with vendors as needed for start-up improvement and modification of equipment.

Serve as a technical equipment/area specialist for assigned function in the plant.

Support major overhauls, annual maintenance and installation projects.

Utilize and adhere to maintenance systems and tools.

Read manufacturing instructions, manuals and technical schematics (mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic).

Utilize process improvement techniques, tools and procedures.

Train line mechanics and operators on equipment and Best Practices.


Key Qualifications Include:

10 year experience mechanical/technical experience - Sidel / Krones - high-speed blowmolding / PET manufacturing.

Leadership experience in a technical / production role.

Strong Engineering & Technical skills including Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic skills.  Associates Technical Degree preferred.

Demonstrated experience completing welding and fabrication projects.

Sound problem solving skills.

Strong people skills with a desire to lead.

Effective Communication (verbal and written).

CMMS/MP2 (AMM)  or similar maintenance system experience.

Understanding of Continuous Improvement methods.

SAP experience.

Basic computer skills (Microsoft office).

Ability to pass Ramsay Assessment.

Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods of time.  Must be able to lift 50 pounds on a continuous basis.
